I began making art from a very early age. I started by taking classes at Bemis Art School, and my passion for art grew. In high school, I was fortunate to be taught by local Colorado Springs art celeb Floyd Tunsen. In college, my passion continued to grow as I learned to paint from life and built my knowledge of traditional landscapes. Currently, I have been very inspired by urban landscapes: beautiful skies and mountain scenes but also elements of urban life (power lines, billboards, gas stations, etc.).

My work can be found all over town. I regularly have artwork up at the Manitou Art Center. Recently I finished a commission of 12 animal portraits of local wildlife for the newly opened Beast and Brews Restaurant and Tap House. Not only did I design and create each work of art, but I also created custom reclaimed wood frames for each piece.

Currently, I am very excited to be working on an art show that will be held at Kreuser Gallery in Colorado Springs in June 2020. The theme of the show is urban landscapes. Being a Colorado Springs native, I love to focus on the hidden gems around town. Long term, I hope someday to be represented by a gallery and have the opportunity to create and show work regularly.
